While Leofwyna tackled more sorting both days I concentrated on the transcription until I finially finished late Sunday afternoon. I did take a break from the transcription for a little Saturday afternoon to help her search for a particular file box. Thinking we'd know if it were in the house we concentrated on looking for it in the piles of furniture and boxes in the garage. Finally we both took another turn through the piles of boxes in the house and found it on the bottom back stack in the dining room. It took another half hour to pile stuff back into the garage and call that done. All for one little piece of paper; the title to the car.
We watched the Academy Awards Sunday night and was pleased with the new format celebrating the winners instead of rushing them off the stage in order to beef up the program with 'entertainment' for the viewing audience. I thought it was thoroughly refreshing for them to do honor to the award winners instead. I've always thought it rather rude to turn up the music to force the honorees to leave. Give the comedians and performers their own programs instead if there's an audience for them, eh?
