MONDAY

Marty, the across the street neighbor, came over and took down the old apple tree that split itself a year ago.  I'd strapped it up last summer to keep it from dropping one side into the kitchen or dining room and it made it through the winter with no problem.  We'll miss it's shade though; doing dishes this evening was a trifle warm with the sun beating in that window.  We've gotta think about how to get a semi-permanent sunshade on that side of the house during the summer.

I took off to return tapes to the library, pick up passport application forms, etcetra.  Back at home I found a few contacts to send job applications to and jumped through that particular set of hoops.  When Leofwyna got home I gave over the computer and spent the rest of the evening cutting down tapestry samples for camp rugs.
