Spent a little time with Gyda's fabric tearing out the panels for the two Halftroll tunics. With care and efficiency I was able to leave a full yard of the yellow and four yards of the blue for another project.
SATURDAY
Got the blue (and absolutely plain as requested) tunic finished tonight. I just want so much to trim it up somehow it's so plain.
SUNDAY
Got the yellow linen mostly sewn up but stopped when I realized I needed to preshrink the trim before finishing it up. This one is looking good and the blue red and yellow trim is Gyda's really nice tablet weaving.
MONDAY
Leofwyna was able to go to sleep early today so she was up early and wanted to go to some thrift stores and a movie. We found a few jigsaw puzzles and some Christmas cards for next couple years and had supper at Valentino's before going to see Percy Jackson. Basically it's a teen date-night revisit to mythology and forgetable enough I had trouble remembering enough of it to come up with the name to key in here.
