Today I saw the most exquisite Monarch butterfly looking for flowers in our front yard. It seemed to want to stay in the sunshine though and the only blooms (blue Hardy Geranium) were in shadow near the house. After watching it for a good ten minutes it drifted off to other yards.
Called and made arrangements for the apple tree stump to get chipped out and for an appointment to take the mower into the shop for some quick attention tomorrow. Also loaded recycling into the van to deal with. I got the event flyer for Cattle Raids sent out. However, I'm such a slug... it was a beautiful day and I accomplished nothing else outdoors or in.
