TUESDAY
Another beautiful day weatherwise. I went out to vote about 3pm. There was a line of sorts and I was second in that line for mere moments. While I filled out my form there were perhaps three others doing the same. After that I celebrated by going to a couple thrift stores. I found a nice pair of black flats, a pristine pair of Dr. Scholl's wooden sole sandles [which I haven't been able to find any in years!], a couple jigsaw puzzles of the brand I prefer, an oval basket and a weekly pocket calendar at Goodwill. Then at Salvation Army I found jeans, pants, a couple sweater tops and a linen dress that can pass as an undertunic.
As the day waned I headed home to catch up the dishwashing and have supper before settling in to watch the election results. My heart's in my throat but I'm hopeful for good results this time around.
