SATURDAY

Leofwyna was at work today so after sleeping in late and reading my email and LJ I headed out to feed Shelly's cats and score something to eat myself. Stopped in at JoAnnes for tan linen using a 40% coupon as I want to remake my Saxon undertunic for Coronation. [I'm going to have to throw it in a dye bath to get the color closer to what the embroidery is on... a little more Army brown sort of color.]

Returned home to make major progress sheering three more raised beds, only one more to finish and I can start turning out and sifting the fill to get rid of weed roots. I plan on a late planting of brocolli, spinach and radishes... maybe some pod peas, too. Gotta look at the seed box and check maturing numbers to see what else I might put in hoping for a mild, long fall season.

Spent the evening watching more Olympics. Phelps completed his eight golds with a 4x100m relay... Yay!!
