SUNDAY
Slept late enough then slipped downstairs to keep Joey quiet while Leofwyna slept even later. She deserves the rest as she drove the entire trip to Coronation both ways. We poked around rummage sales and thrift stores this afternoon looking for glass with minimal success but I felt successful keeping her from seeing to duties around the house for one day at least. Stopped for groceries and threw together a simple supper with fish, brocolli and rice.
MONDAY
Popped a couple checks into envelopes and headed out making stops first at the Post Office and then dropping off books at the library, then on to a quick lunch, a stop at the thrift store [found over four yards of an interesting wool blend woven stripe] and UNL library to work on the computer there where I can use a printer for the job search.
Can't decide yet if the wool should be an early-style sideless surcoat, Saxon apron dress or Norman overtunic. Whatever It becomes it'll be a warm layer for a cool event. Probably ought to go for the early style sideless surcoat to avoid having overly warm sleeves.
Leofwyna spent the afternoon on yardwork and laundry so we went to Golden Corral for supper. I broke down several sample books both evenings while she was on the computer.
