TUESDAY-THURSDAY

Mostly working on transcription job.  Nearly brain dead from that.  Wednesday I went to A&S where a discussion was held about a new play for use at our JAV demo in May.  Thursday evening I went to Fiber Art at Sash's.  Gyda lent me Halftroll's  lucet* so I can make cord.  It's too late to make my own cord for the gold key stuff but at least I'll learn the process and decide if I want to find-get one of my own for future use.  Both nights I worked on stitching down seams on the Viking caps.
(* I don't know why I have a mental block on remembering the name of this little forked wood tool.)

FRIDAY

Ran a few errands including getting the car insured and licensed, mailing payments, dropping off paper for recycling; then hit a couple thrift stores with no results this time and stopped for groceries for the weekend.  The grocery store was havng a good sale on meat so I got two nice boneless pork roasts to put in the crock pot .  Ran out back and threw out some broccoli and spinach seed in a couple of the raised beds as precipitation is indicated over the next few days..

SATURDAY-SUNDAY

First thing I put the pork in the big crockpot Iwith a couple packages of dried fruit and an onion.  When suppertime rolled around I cooked an artichoke and an acorn squash to go with the roast for supper.  I must of mostly veged out this weekend as I can't think of anything I accomplished.  That can't be right but oh well.  The roast came back out for a second supper with sweet potatoes and green beans Sunday.

MONDAY-TUESDAY

The transcription is finally finished, thank goodness.  I've had quite enough of the subject on Antarctica I think.  Got the invoice turned in.   Revisited the pork roast as barbeque sandwiches with a cauliflower-carrot salad.  We both took turns stripping some of the cotton samples; the end is in sight.
