Was still having trouble dealing with the internet so called the service number again. This time they offered to put through a work order to check the lines. Well, finally. I've been mentioning the static in the phone line every time I call. Went to scribes in the evening and instead of scrolls we worked at painting a banner for Scarlet Keep.
SATURDAY
Had Windstream in this morning to deal with static in the phonelines... it was disrupting my computer connections. When he left he said he had one more thing to take care of outside. I was busy with somthing so didn't get to the computer for an hour or so... no service. Checked phone... no phone either. Well, Hell!
Went to the neighbor to call it in... some one will come as soon as possible... your appointment is tomorrow 3:45pm. WTF? Fortunately they were just here and it's fixed but although I'm happy it's fixed I found the whole thing more than a little annoying, especially since the initial appointment was supposed to be this afternoon, NOT this morning when Mickey is sleeping and then this too!
This just isn't my day. The serger I had serviced while away and just picked up yesterday still isn't fixed. In addition to having it cleaned/serviced the pick-up lever was sticking... stuck... It's already doing it again. I did manage to complete my current task but that's something else on my TO DO list this week since they're already closed today. They hadn't better charge me anymore for this... $110 is already plenty!
