Put the bags of paperbacks back in the trunk for a propitious day to trade them in at the book store, the aluminum cans, too. Also, put the box of 'interesting' teeshirts in the back seat for distribution. Got three of my prescriptions renewed today but the fourth was declined. So when were they going to tell me... they certainly didn't volunteer the information; I had to ask about it. Darn, I have only one of those pills left and can't call the doctor's office now until Monday. What a pain in the butt!
Back at home I stripped my bed and started laundry, then I started sorting out the pile of accumulated thrift store stuff in my room. A pile for 100% cotton shirts/skirts for quilting, a pile for linen and cotton-linen, a pile of woolens, a pile of craft and mundane notions, and a pile for anything else to be re-sorted later. This evening as I did three more loads of laundry I started cutting down the cotton pile so it can be washed, ironed and boxed up for more efficient storage until I get the sewing room set back up.
We have a pile of Hammerhill and Willcopy paper boxes that I'll fill and label to make it easier to find stuff for actual projects when I get to that point. And they'll make a nice, neat pile taking up less space in my room or in the sewing room when I get that far. The label will include notes on plans for specific pieces and will be crossed off when they're pulled to be worked up.
